Hypnocoach for Deeply Sensitive, Intuitive People

My Story

I didn’t set out to become a hypnotherapist. In fact, I found hypnosis at one of the most physically vulnerable times in my life.

I was recuperating from a heart attack and emergency intestinal surgery when I stumbled across an article about hypnosis in Psychology Today. After an extended hospital stay, I knew I had about 18 months of recovery ahead of me. But as I read that article, my whole being lit up.

I knew I needed to pay attention.

So I did. I followed links, ordered books, and researched everything I could find about hypnosis.

By then, I had spent years exploring therapy, energy work, personal growth, and spiritual practice. I had healed enormously, yet I knew there was more of me I wanted to be and experience. I wanted greater freedom from the old wounds and patterns that created needless suffering long after I understood where they came from.

At first, I was simply curious about whether hypnosis might help me with the grief I still carried after my husband’s death. What I didn’t expect to discover was an approach to healing that gave me a way to communicate directly with the subconscious mind. No other approach I had tried was able to do this, and the discovery opened a whole world of possibilities.

Eventually, I discovered that a state-certified hypnotherapy school was only 45 minutes from my home. I made an appointment to interview the owners and immediately enrolled.

The training was profound and life-changing. I felt as though I had discovered the Holy Grail. Here was a way to work with some of my deepest wounds. Here was a way I could help other people. And here was work that brought together so much of what had always been natural to me: sensitivity, intuition, curiosity, creativity, and a deep desire to understand what lies beneath the surface.

You could say I found hypnosis accidentally. You could call it coincidence.

I believe I was led to it because I was ready to hear the call.

I had spent so much of my life seeking healing, understanding, and greater freedom for myself. Now I had found work that allowed me to bring what I had learned, what I had lived, and who I naturally was into service to other people. Hypnotherapy didn’t simply become something I practiced. It became my true work in the world.

Today, I’m a Certified Hypnotherapist with seven years in practice and a BA in Communications. I participate in professional communities including the Hypnotherapists Pro Group locally and the Therapy Business Group in England.

I’m also an empath, intuitive, and creative. I listen for more than the words being spoken. I notice patterns, connections, and subtleties, while remaining curious about what they might mean for the person sitting across from me.

My professional training matters to me. But the credential that most deeply informs the way I work can’t be framed and hung on a wall.

I have walked every step of the path toward wholeness that I ask my clients to walk.

That doesn’t mean I’ve arrived at some perfected version of myself. That is not what healing is for.

You already possess extraordinary qualities that are waiting to be expressed. Qualities that may have been blocked by old wounds and beliefs. Sensitivity, intuition, intelligence, creativity, capacity for love, self-awareness, talent, wisdom, and others we have yet to discover.

That’s why I do this work.

You don’t heal to become someone better. You heal to free who was there all along.

Perhaps you, like me, know there is more of you to express, discover, and experience. Perhaps you have always known that “not good enough” was an illusion. Perhaps you, too, have a thirst to be and experience all that you are.

If so, we already have something important in common. I can’t wait to discover what else we share.

When all else fails, healing magic happens here.

It is my personal belief that clarity, empowerment, and lasting transformation come from the practice of choosing the guidance of our higher self, or our inner wisdom. Hypnotherapy gives us direct access to that inner wisdom.

I cannot imagine a greater gift to give yourself than the ability to tap into your higher self whenever you want to. Once you hear the voice of your Higher Self, you will never forget it, and it will become an anchor of goodness, wisdom, and love in a chaotic world.

I have always loved the process of personal transformation, and I am constantly amazed by the profound changes people achieve through this life-altering process.

It would be my honor to guide you on your journey through hypnotherapy. Miracles happen. I’ve seen them!
